Damdama, Haryana Dumdama is basically a lake surrounded by the enchanting Aravali Ranges and is popullar for rock climbing, paragliding and ballooning. Motorable from Delhi.

The ridge of Jurassic sandstone in the central part of the region breaks into the landscape at several places. In the north is Rann of Kutch, a salt marsh and in the south is Little Rann of Kutch.

Sultanpur Bird Sancturay, Haryana Sultanpur was declared a waterbird reserve in 1972 . The grounds are lush with lawns, trees and shrubs and masses of bougainvillaea . Sultanpur is a good place for birdwatching. Motorable from Delhi (46kms).

Kurukshetra, Haryana About 154 kms.from Delhi is Kurukshetra, the place where the famous battle of the epic, Mahabharata was fougdht . It was here that the message of the Gita, the doctrine of Hindus, was given by Lord Krishana to doubt ridden Arjuna on the battleflied.

The Kurukshetra tank attracts millions of pilgrlims during eclipses, when the water is believed to be especiallly purifying.
